13th European seminar on geography of water
“Community Scale Water
Management patterns in Transylvania”
July 4-15, 2010
The Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Geography invites master, PhD
students and young scientists to attend the 13th Seminar on Geography of Water
on the topic “Community Scale Water Management patterns in Transylvania”.
The
seminar is held in Cluj-Napoca, in the NW side
of Transylvanian Basin, in a city with 320.000
inhabitants and 110.000 students. (http://en.clujnapoca.ro/home/)
During the 13th Seminar on Geography
of Water with special title “Community Scale Water Management patterns in Transylvania”, you will have the opportunity to get
acquainted with the various aspects of community scale water management, to
develop interactive on site discussions involving at the same time various
actors in water management, such as stakeholders, decision makers.
You
will discover the diversity of mineral water occurrences, the different ways of
their use, good and bad approaches, old and new practices, the benefits and
risk of daily consumption.

in the fields of topics involvements, both in lecture-rooms and during field
visits too to fulfill your expectations.
